Diwali 2026

Diwali is on 20 Oct 2026. The store opens in five working days — the deadline is dispatch, not setup.

Diwali corporate gifting

This Diwali, let your people choose.

One hamper for everyone is the easiest thing to organise and the least likely to be kept. We turn one budget into a store where each person picks what they actually want.

Two ways to run Diwali

Employees choose. Clients receive.

Most companies run both at Diwali, on different budgets — as one engagement, one point of contact.

An employee Diwali store

One per-person budget, one branded store. Employees pick from what you approved and enter their own address.

  • One budget, hundreds of in-budget options
  • No address collection for your team
  • Sweets, gourmet, home, tech and sustainable kits side by side
  • Reminders chase whoever hasn't picked
  • One report and one invoice at the end

A client & partner campaign

For clients and partners, presentation beats choice. You approve one gift per tier; we collect addresses by gift link and deliver it branded.

  • Works from just names and work emails
  • Different gift values per client tier
  • Branded packaging and a personal note
  • Non-food options for unfamiliar lists
  • About two weeks end to end
Diwali budgets

What each tier actually buys.

Start from the number, not the product. These are the tiers Indian companies run most often at Diwali.

₹1,000Festival scale

The workhorse tier for large programs where everyone still gets a real choice.

  • Dry-fruit boxes and sweet hampers
  • Desk and stationery accessories
  • Compact home and kitchen items
  • Diyas, candles and small décor
₹1,500Sustainable

Where eco-conscious programs land — kits that feel considered rather than worthy.

  • Sustainable desk and plant kits
  • Premium dry-fruit and truffle boxes
  • Wellness and self-care minis
  • Plantable and recycled stationery
₹2,500Everyday premium

Where the gift stops reading as a formality and starts reading as chosen.

  • Entry audio and phone accessories
  • Coffee, tea and barware sets
  • Home fragrance and décor
  • Everyday bags and organisers

Client and CXO Diwali gifting usually sits at ₹5,000–₹10,000 — see direct gifting tiers.

The festival edit

Four approved options, inside one budget.

A worked ₹1,700 tier. Four choices, all in budget, so everyone picks something they want and finance sees one number.

Diwali Dry-Fruit Hamper

The traditional choice, presented properly and easy to ship at volume.

₹1,200

Sustainable Desk Kit

For teams running an eco-conscious program, with branding on the outer kit.

₹1,500

Premium Diffuser Set

A home-forward option that reads more premium than its tier suggests.

₹1,650

Chocolate Truffle Box

The safe crowd-pleaser, and the usual fallback for last-minute additions.

₹1,350

Names and prices are representative. Your live edit is curated against your budget and brand rules, and you approve it before anyone sees it.

Timing

Diwali gifting fails on timing, not on taste.

Nobody remembers a gift that arrived after the festival. The store is ready in a week; the rest of the runway is branding and dispatch.

Day 1

Kick off

Budget, headcount and audience agreed. The program is configured and branded.

  • Scope call
  • Rules set
  • Recipient list
Day 2–3

Curate

Vendors approached with your volume, samples checked, shortlist to you.

  • Sourcing
  • Sample QC
  • You approve
Day 4

Preview

You see the store exactly as an employee will, before it opens.

  • Store preview
  • Test link
  • Sign-off
Day 5

Go live

Live inside five working days. The link goes out, selections come in, reminders chase the rest.

  • Link sent
  • Auto-reminders
  • Live tracking
Then

Delivered

Branded, packed and dispatched to individual doorsteps, timed to land ahead of the festival week.

  • Branded packing
  • Pan-India dispatch
  • Final report

Left it late? Opening the store is the fast part — five working days, even now. A late start costs you on the other side of go-live: branding needs lead time, and sweets come off the table first on shelf life. When the window has truly closed, gift cards deliver same-day.

The unglamorous part

What actually goes wrong at Diwali.

Festival gifting has failure modes the rest of the year doesn't. Decide these at kickoff, not once the gifts are moving.

Sweets have a deadline

Mithai and fresh gourmet carry a hard dispatch cut-off well before the rest of the catalogue. Decide at kickoff — adding them once sourcing is underway usually isn't possible.

Not everyone eats the same

Vegetarian, Jain, no-onion-garlic, allergies and alcohol-free are all normal in one office. Food-only catalogues quietly exclude people.

Courier networks jam

The fortnight before Diwali is the busiest shipping window in the Indian calendar. Dispatching into that queue is the most common reason gifts land late.

Pooja items aren't universal

Welcome in some programs, wrong in others. Opt-in per program, never on by default for a mixed workforce.

Last-minute additions

New joiners and the person nobody listed always appear in the final week. A small buffer of a safe in-stock option is the fix.

Sustainable, genuinely

Eco programs work when the kit is useful — plantable stationery, desk plants, recycled materials — and fall flat when only the packaging is green.

Beyond Diwali

The same program, every celebration.

Once a store exists, the next festival is a new program inside it, not a rebuild — new budget, new edit, same rules and list.

Running more than one festival a year is where an always-on store pays for itself — see how that works.

Questions

What teams ask about Diwali gifting.

The festival-specific ones. General questions are answered on the How it works page.

How late can we still start a Diwali program?

The store itself opens in five working days, so the real deadline is dispatch, not setup. Roughly two weeks before the festival week still leaves room for branding and pan-India delivery; inside a week, gift cards and digital vouchers are the honest answer — we will tell you that rather than promise a delivery date we cannot hit.

Can employees pick sweets, or only non-food?

Both, in the same store. Sweets and fresh gourmet carry an earlier dispatch cut-off because of shelf life, so they are offered alongside non-food options. For client gifting we lean non-food, since dietary rules are usually unknown.

We want a sustainable Diwali. What does that look like?

The ₹1,500 tier is where most eco programs land — plantable stationery, desk plants, recycled and natural materials, with branding on the outer kit. The test we apply is whether the item is genuinely useful, not whether the box is brown.

Can we gift employees and clients in one Diwali engagement?

Yes, and most companies do. Employees run as a choice store and clients as a direct campaign, on separate budgets and separate reports, but with one point of contact and one festival timeline.

What about people who join in the final week?

Late additions are normal at Diwali. A small buffer of a safe, in-stock option is kept available so anyone added at the end still receives something on time, rather than being quietly dropped from the list.

Start this year's Diwali program.

Tell us the headcount and per-person budget. You'll get a festival edit built for that number, a preview of what your people would see, and a delivery date that lands before the festival week.
